Pathway to Success

Our ‘Pathway to Success’ model underpins all our alternative provision offering. We work with young people to build toolkits of emotional regulation, form positive and trusted relationships, and reignite young people's passion for learning, ready for the next chapter in their education journey.

Adopting this model we have seen young people:

  • reengaged and back in regular attendance at school or in education other than at school (EOTAS)

  • able to regulate their emotions

  • build positive relationships with adults and peers

  • able to absorb learning and obtain formal qualifications

ASSESSMENT PERIOD

Our assessment period is a key facet of the Pathway to Success Model. An assessment booklet is completed throughout this journey which helps to inform where a young person is placed on our provision or what referral is required. The assessment period varies depending on need. Each tier of the assessment is modelled on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
