Music

Learning to express ourselves through a musical instrument studying the fundamentals of music can offer so many versatile benefits. It can give us a better understanding of other elements of life such as maths, history, sociology and physics in a more experimental and engaging way.

Just like learning a new language, learning music can provide new and abstract methods to express ourselves when other forms may prove to be more difficult. Music can be taken as a group activity or a solitary endeavour, improving social skills while also teaching us healthy self soothing/therapy techniques.

Qualifications

The Arts Award qualifications are designed to inspire learners to grow their arts and leadership talents. Supporting and encouraging learners of all levels and abilities and from all backgrounds and cultures to engage and participate in the arts.

We offer Technical Awards and Certificates in Music Technology which include a vocational and project-based elements. Perfect to kick start a career in the music industry.

The Unit Award Scheme (UAS) is a unique way to record learner achievement. Its ‘can do’ approach is used to boost student confidence, engagement and motivation.
