Fitness

We can think of personal training as the physical element of a person’s holistic wellbeing. Our mind and body work together and we recognise the importance of spending time on both. Personal Training, or PT doesn’t just mean sweating in a gym or scaling a cliff face (although those are great), anything that gets the body moving counts.

What is fitness?

We take a fun and light-hearted approach to PT with a focus on celebrating the little victories. We have a qualified Personal Trainer who delivers basic fitness sessions on site and we have easy access to the local park where young people and staff can enjoy some outdoor sessions or just to escape to for some fresh air.

Young people can achieve AQA Unit Awards in a variety of physical education offerings or alternatively through creative forms of fitness, such as dance, young people had work towards their Arts Award.

Qualifications

The Arts Award qualifications are designed to inspire learners to grow their arts and leadership talents. Supporting and encouraging learners of all levels and abilities and from all backgrounds and cultures to engage and participate in the arts.

The Unit Award Scheme (UAS) is a unique way to record learner achievement. Its ‘can do’ approach is used to boost student confidence, engagement and motivation.
